Britt Winland is a writer, educator, and PhD candidate at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. As Assistant Director of the First-Year Writing Program, she works with composition instructors across the university. She also teaches composition, literature, and creative writing courses for the Department of English.
Winner of the West Virginia Writers. Inc. Emerging Writers Award and a Finalist in the Arkansas International Emerging Writer’s Award, both in 2020, Britt has work appearing in An Ocean of Wonder: The Fantastic in the Pacific from UH Press, and Kestrel.
